Unlike many skincare brands, our products contain no unnatural preservatives, colours, fragrances, petrochemicals or sulphates. The nourishing, cleansing, and fragrant qualities of our products are derived naturally from plants.

Our products are free from parabens, palm oil, SLS, DEA, TEA, PEG, Alcohol (ethanol, ethyl alcohol, alcohol denat.), phenoxyethanol, artificial perfumes /fragrance, petrochemicals, methylisothiazolinone, phthalates, colourants, silicone, mineral oils, formaldehyde and propylene glycol.

Each product undergoes a series of controlled laboratory tests to assess skin safety. This is a legal requirement, to ensure our products are safe, and to analyse possible allergens. Botanical-extracts in the form of essential oils can very rarely cause reactions, so we do recommend patch testing a very small area of skin if you have ever reacted to skincare products before, or have particularly sensitive skin. Apply a dab of product behind the ear, and wait 24 hours.

Our ingredient lists identify each extract used within our products, so if you have a known allergy, please check here and avoid using the product if necessary.

A number of our products are blended with ingredients sourced from nuts, which may cause adverse reactions in those with nut allergies. If you have a nut allergy, please carefully check our ingredients list and consult with a doctor if necessary, before using. Look out for the following ingredients within our recipe cards:

Our product ranges are blended, bottled and sealed by hand right here in the UK. We are proud to put our production into the skilled hands of people.

Adonis London products are vegan and cruelty free, and testing is never carried out on animals. We use rigorous laboratory testing of the highest standards to ensure the efficacy and safety of our products.

All ingredients within our recipes are sustainably sourced. We work with suppliers who purchase oils and extracts from partners utilising sustainable practices. We source ingredients from plants across the World that have been valued within different cultures for their beneficial properties.

The majority of suppliers and farmers we utilise are able to provide organically certified extracts and oils. Whilst others are working towards this certification by changing their methods and using natural pesticides. Our organic ingredients are clearly identified within our ingredient lists.

Each product displays a small symbol, on the reverse, of a container with an opened lid. Within this container a number is displayed which indicates the recommended shelf life of the product. For example ‘12M’ symbolises that the product will remain at its peak efficiency for one year, once opened.

To keep the products fresh and effective, store your products in a dry, cool environment out of direct sunlight. Ensure lids are replaced correctly, and caps are tightly screwed in place. We recommend keeping our Bamboo Collagen masks in a refrigerator during spells of hot weather for best results.

To prolong their efficacy and freshness, all retail skincare products require preservatives. At Adonis London we select naturally occurring preservatives from plants, each prolonging the life of the product and providing additional skin benefits for your skin.

Our entire product range contains no animal-derived ingredients, making our products suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
